1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?
Change is slow. I discovered persistence, patience, enjoying work, motivation& faith are required to manifest my goals to flourish. Only the beginning !
2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?
I came from years of poverty even homelessness. The way I became a leader not being afraid to step up to go out & achieve goals! I moved from Houston, TX to Los Angeles, CA by doing my own research skipping the middle man & applied to 50 media companies I got 45 no's , 2 Maybes & 3 Yes. This leap of faith enough to turn into 21 Billion Views of Media Work Views in TV/Movies/Universal Music Group Distribution ETC. Despite negative doubters, rejection, I stayed optimistic& kept the faith in The Creator.
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
Sometimes I go to sleep listening manifestation/ uplifting music! write down to my goals, organize what I need to do up listen to manifestation/uplifting music . I do some track stretches& workout every other day now. I then go to work & enjoy it as much as possible.
4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?
Good change can be slow, as long as I do my very best no regrets.
5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?
The Book of The Bible My fave wisdom chapters are from Proverbs ! I try to read a chapter of proverbs daily as it helps my leadership with focus on straight & narrow path.
6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?
Keep the Faith because you are stronger than you know even though it seems impossible!
7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?
At 12 years old before I was accepted, I was rejected, by same school of Performing Arts as at The Beyonce Knowles at 'Welch Middle School' in Houston ,TX! After I got Rejected for gymnastics at 'Welch Middle School' I taught myself how to do the most advanced flips!
That summer when I was flipping at a park I was discovered for The 'Jr Olympics' for Track , Dominated most of the Year in hurdles, long jump & 4x100! I also came back to audition for 'Welch Middle School ' not only did I make the team but 'Won Most Outstanding Acrobat ' by 'Olympic Gymnastics Coach Bela Karoli & Welch Middle School! This meaningful, overcoming, story empowers me today in all obstacles! Despite.
