1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?

As a leader, the most challenging aspect is to keep your client happy in respective of the actual issues with their work and secondly take all your employees together with you so that they can perform and discharge their work well.

2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?

I feel like I was a born leader as when I was in college, I used to get involved in my family business and as a young boy, I worked well and delegated tasks to many employees. It worked well and when I realised the potential business acumen I started my own consulting company in 2002. I used to enjoy working with my employees and getting the best out of them.

3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?

I mostly prefer to work 1 hour on my computer before going out for any meeting so that I can assign tasks to my team for the day. I do have a daily schedule that allows me to use my day very effectively and also get 1-2 hours daily to plan and think about my business expansion and growth. I usually travel a lot so I make sure once I reach my hotel or home I check all my important emails and notes before I wind up my day and assign them to the respective department or person in my office.

4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?

Never rely on any one employee or client for your company's growth even if that individual gives lots of success to your business.

5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so

far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?

The Ultimate Sales Machine describes how the sales pitch should be and how you can grow your sales. It really created a strong impact on how I was thinking about pitching the services earlier and taught me new horizons of sales pitch.

6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?

The one piece of advice would be to stay focused make a goal and keep revisiting every quarter or half yearly to see where they stand. Meet seniors in your industry and attend a knowledge-sharing networking platform to grow your knowledge and business.

7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far? Believe in yourself and your ability to be successful and keep working hard in respective of your current situation. When my business was established I got a work assignment that was more than USD 130000 and completely changed my company's business growth. It was almost 19 years back and till now we have never gone down in our business sales. It was a game-changing deal that taught me many new things about how you can make a difference when you have knowledge and self-confidence in your ability to close the deal for your company.
