I'm a Sierra Leonean, born in Mathinka Bana kholifa Mabang Chiefdom Tonkolili District, North East Region of Sierra Leone, on the 4 February 1998. I engage in Agricultural Activities over the years after I have finished my University Higher Diploma course I n Agriculture General. My aim is to improve the lives of young people especially the underprivileged to make the to be self motivated, self Reliance and Youths of the Nation.

1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?


Decision making


2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?


There is a time when my parents (mom and Dad) are traveling to the city in a meeting, I leave with my seven brothers at home with just an package to prepare food for us to eat, unfortunately my parents involved into a road accident and my father died mum was taking to hospital with critical condition, over two months mum was admitted at the hospital and our food is finished no one to help around like relative, one day I took my Brothers for us to make something that will make us survive even mom has to recover to will help us to sustain even now dad has gone I I think of planting cassava and groundnut that will just take three months in the ground and rich to harvesting stage.


Then after this cultivation then we fortunate to receive found from our uncle with $100 US Dallas which could take us three months to buy food at home, after this three months our crops rich to harvesting stage like groundnut then we harvest it then we sold some to buy rice as staple food, people in the community was so interested about the idea we started then we start forming FARMERS BASED ORGANIZATION (FBO) in our community with the same crops they appointment me as leader due to the experience, knowledge, and skills that I have in the various activities over the past months.


So I found Sierra Leone Atoma Development organization as Community Based Organization (CBO) to operate in three different sectors like Agriculture, Health and Education. Today am the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Leone Atoma Development organization (SLADO) And am proud to be a leader.


3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?


In time frame ( Time table), Time planning.



4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?


Been Self motivated is a key in Humans life.


5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?


"She stoops to conquer" is on the book I believe in leadership motivation. There is a sentence that says in the by the writing "you can only succeed as a leader when you patient with your flowers" and this has created impact in my leadership role in order I have the patient in any thing that I do as a leader.


6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?


A leader must be patient and devoted.


7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?


'A leader is someone who have a clean mind and trust worthy' One time at my University students I meet with one Mr Mohamed Amadu Kamara who is the Head of Department for Engineering he give me $10 dollars with my friend to deliver the money to his wife for night dinner and my friend take the money and use it for clubbing I get back and explain to Mr kamara that my friend take the money and I didn't see him, Mr kamara ask me to find him if not I will loose my studies in the university then I call my brother to send me money then I explain to my brother because I didn't want to lose my studies my brother send the money and I take it to give it to Mr kamara and Mr ask me how I get the money I explain to him that my brother send me the money just to solve this issue Mr kamara blessed me and take another $50 dollars with a project contain $10,000 US Dallas and he hand it over to me the I was awarded as the best student in our congregation ceremony.
