1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?
Setting good standards for others to follow for organisational growth and individual development.
2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?
I started legal practice in a law firm and law reporting in a law publishing organization. Subsequently, I established my own law firm and became the Principal Counsel. Also, I grew to become the Editor of the law reports. So, at both ends, I'm involved in leading others in carrying out the businesses of the organisations and the development of the personnel servicing those organisations.
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
First, I observe my devotion, and then, if time permits, do some physical exercise. Thereafter, I go through my diary to see the tasks for the day and set the necessary priorities for accomplishing them. In the course of performing the tasks for the day, I also attend to requests, follow up on pending matters, and review upcoming tasks for proper strategies.
4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?
Anything that can be done in 5 minutes, do it now!
