1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?
Managing people has been a challenging. Different people with different emotions from different tribes and backgrounds with different challenges can often time be challenging in managing.
2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?
"I assumed the role of president in my Campus Fellowship over ten years ago, following a rigorous training and progression through various levels. When the fellowship faced a crisis, the board collectively decided that a leader capable of unifying conflicting factions was needed. To my surprise and humility, I found myself nominated for this crucial role."
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
I kickstart my day with early prayers and devotions, followed by crafting a detailed to-do list outlining the day's activities. I make sure to incorporate contingencies into my plan for added preparedness.
4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?
Leadership transcends mere titles; it entails a dedicated commitment to serving others, making meaningful impacts, and consistently delivering one's best.
5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?
"The Purpose-Driven Life" by Rick Warren.
I discovered my purpose after reading the book. I decided to not only exist but to make impacts
6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?
Strive to contribute your utmost to improve the world. Humanity is essentially kindness embodied.
7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?
Leadership has unexpectedly opened crucial doors for me. Leaders serve as prepared vessels guiding the world toward its destined destination.
