1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?
The lack of comprehension by followers due to the rigidity of their beliefs or cultures has really been a factor of which I battle with.
2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?
Right from childhood, I have always tried to lead my life by pushing myself to become better and yield great result and this has pivoted my life to the point of leadership till date. I have been appointed as the class president due to my leadership skills and ability to persuade members of the group towards achieving a common goal.
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
My days are well organised so as to carry on with every task scheduled for the day starting from the simplest to the most difficult task. And time is duly assigned to each of these tasks so as to make be yield better.
4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?
I have over time learned that it is okay to sometimes sit back and learn from others. Leadership doesn't make you the monopoly of knowledge as a humble leader is a strong leader.
5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?
Gifted Hands by Ben Carson. This book has thought me to pursue my goals and to lead my life first before even thinking of leading others. It has taught me that leadership starts with me.
6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?
I may not be able to change the world, but I will spark the mind that will change the world
7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?
Leadership is about the power to rule or show dominion over others, but Leadership is the meekness, humility and kindness to serve those under your care or territory.
