1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?

SMEs and its leaders face many challenges, but some of the biggest challenges I had to face before success came knocking on my door were getting access to a stable source of income, developing sales channels from scratch, and ensuring client retention. I had to start from scratch and offer quality services while ensuring growth.

2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?

Digital marketing, especially SEO, is a very familiar area to me. And I know that it’s a growing market that will change the present and the future. As such, I decided to pool some of the most skilled and talented individuals in my country and build a digital marketing agency that can be accessible by many.

3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?

I structure my days systematically, starting with a prayer in the morning to connect with God. I always start and end the day with a prayer. For the most part, I do my job strategizing and overseeing marketing campaigns, inbound and outbound marketing, content marketing, digital marketing.

I lead a team of writers, creative and technical professionals. I always want to start the day determined and productive. Then I continue the rest of my work for the day at night, if there are any, following the timezone of most of our clients outside the country with different time zones.

4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?

I’m still and will forever be a learner. Leaders are also learners. The most recent significant leadership lesson I’ve learned is the importance of self-awareness. I recently realized that this trait grants me the opportunity to interact with others frankly and confidently, especially my clients and employees. With self-awareness, I can pinpoint my strengths and weaknesses as a leader and be better at it when interacting with others.

5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?

One of the best books I’ve read that helped me improve my leadership is The Bible. The book taught me that if you do anything with determination, and dedication, you can achieve your goals in life, and even be proud of it in a quiet manner. Romans 12:2 even states that you shouldn’t have to conform to the world, but you can be renewed by the transformation of the minds. I also believe that you should make God your first priority. Matthew 6:33 says “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

This is where we can find success

6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?

Embrace humility and listen. Great leaders learn from others, value diverse perspectives, and empower their team. Humility fosters growth, builds trust, and encourages collaboration. By listening attentively, you gain wisdom and insights. Combine empathy with decisive action, leading with humility to inspire and create a positive impact.

7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?

As a leader, one meaningful story that comes to mind is when I witnessed the transformation of a struggling team. Through effective communication, collaboration, and support, we fostered an environment of trust and empowerment. Together, we overcame obstacles, achieved remarkable success, and grew as individuals. It showcased the true power of leadership and teamwork.
