1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?

Getting people to see the vision and opportunity hiding that is hiding in plain sight. Sometimes the most obvious things are the hardest to understand.

2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?

I have always been independent, with foresight into the future that meant I am ahead of the curve. Forging a way where other do not dare. I dared to go places where others are fearful of and naturally fell into a leadership role.

3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?

I am an early riser, starting at 0500. the morning time is dedicated to spirituality, and fitness. Mind, body and spirit must be aligned. From there I am dedicated to driving forward with meetings, networking, barnstorming, driving the company, vision and mission forward.

4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?

Stay humble and grounded. You are not going to win every time, during these moment find the silver lining, remain positive and continue driving forward.

5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?

24 Assets By Daniel Priestly. It is not about building a company it is about building a brand, a legacy that will remain even when you cross over. Here to make a lasting change, a difference that will be felt for aeons to come! And....Surrounded by Idiots by Thomas Erikson who helps understands why sometimes we feel like we are surrounded by idiots and how to build great teams.

6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?

Go for it, follow your instincts, know and trust yourself. Don't take just anyone''s advice because everyone has an opinion that is skewed by their unconscious biases. Know yourself and you will know your guiding light.

7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?

Recognise the no well before it hits you. You know the signs, it happens when they do not respond, when you chase, when you wonder why it has taken 3 weeks to get feedback. Be brave and honest with yourself sooner than later because it will save your time. Trust in your intuition.
