1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?

Dealing with your Coworkers : Communication is the root of all human relationships. And it’s crucial to know how to communicate with your coworkers . I think choosing to better communicate with our colleagues at Work helps us gain trust and respect. I always think that the most challenging for most leaders is to first earn trust of people we lead. Most of time Co workers or colleagues do not show their real faces . I would love everyone I lead be real and sincere . Most of time people are insincere and not real.

2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?

I think everyone is born a leader .

Everyone is a disciple leader for himself .

In my life Being a leader of a team started when I was 17 years old , I was given a young men class to lead . This is the moment I started learning how to lead people . When I was at Notre Dame University i was elected the chairman of a committee of student of my Class . Leading more than 500 students was a very challenging task I ever had . I had to manage affairs and lead my pairs to academic success by managing Student relationships and professors or teachers . These lessons of leadership learnt from my teenage shaped my leading experiences and prepared me for senior positions . If I can succeed in my leadership it’s due to those basic experiences I had . I can’t forget my mother helping me as my best mentor and Counselor . Most of leadership lessons learnt I give tribute to my mother who encouraged me with advice On how to be a good leader .

3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?

I feel happy when I am really busy and taken . My days start with a 30 minute gym and 45 minutes daily personal study .

I rarely go to bed before 12 Am and wake up before 7 Am . I am more productive in the Night that’s why I take profit of my nights to work . A cup of hot chocolate and a loan of bread are sufficient to make my day . I rarely take lunch to avoid fatigue . I do use every evening time to reevaluate my day and Walk around . I stay in the nature to connect or refresh my mind . I sometimes practice Yogga when I feel frustrated or had a stressful day.

I plan and organize my next day 30 minutes before bed . I make sure to put everything on its place. I Sometimes end my day with a look into the holy scriptures .

4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?

We should learn how to effectively communicate with our team . Being a leader doesn’t mean knowing all necessary informations, we need to be humble , understanding, and inspiring . A leader is someone who inspires others and lead by his actions . A leader is not a dictator but a figure of inspiration for his team . A good leader is worth trusting of his team . A leader is an eternal learner .

5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?

« Teaching in the savior’s way . » this book lists the values of a disciple leader . I do not share my religious beliefs but show how deep were the lessons I learned from this book . A disciple leader is someone who cares more about his team than himself. It’s someone like the shepherd who is ready to sacrifice his life for just one lost sheep . A disciple leader leads by exemples and doesn’t only speaks . He is mic and humble. He respects everyone but doesn’t fear anyone except God.

6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?

Being a leader is not getting ahead of others but it’s getting ahead of ourselves.

Be trustworthy to your team members and learn how to humbly communicate your point of view . We manage things but lead people . People have their own agency . They are not things . People have their different perspectives. Love and show appreciations to people you lead no matter the difference of opinions. Stay humble and keep learning from your team but do what’s right .

7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?

I was given the lead of more than 3 teams. The different team were composed of women and men . The most challenging time in this position was about weekly reports based on the results . This team didn’t perform week and they always set goals that they never achieved by the end of the Week . They wanted to do their best but could not succeed. Results were different from their expectations. I always had interviews with them every Weekends about the different methods they use to achieve their goals . I could not keep seeing sad reports . I told all the different team members to gather ideas and get in the field and help that team perform better . This team succeeded and became one of the most successful teams .

I had only one choice : help this team . I didn’t see in them people who failed but I saw in them people who were struggling. People who were doing their best . All they needed was our encouragement and moral support .
