One of my key strengths lies in my proficiency in accreditations and assessment processes. I have actively participated as an assessor in several accreditation bodies, gaining valuable insights into industry best practices and standards. This experience has enabled me to implement effective quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance and adherence to rigorous healthcare standards. I am confident that my expertise in this area will contribute significantly to maintaining and enhancing my organisation’s reputation for excellence.


In addition to my leadership and accreditation expertise, I am committed to fostering a collaborative and patient-centered environment. 1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?


The most challenging aspect of leadership I’ve encountered involves balancing the diverse needs and perspectives of team members while driving towards a common goal. Navigating this dynamic ensures a collaborative and productive environment.


2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?


My journey to leadership began through consistently demonstrating a strong work ethic, effective problem-solving, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities. Over time, these qualities were recognized by my peers and superiors, leading to opportunities to lead and guide projects.


3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?


My workday begins with setting clear priorities for the day, allocating time for tasks, meetings, and strategic thinking. Regular check-ins with the team and delegating tasks efficiently help me stay focused. At night, I review the day’s accomplishments and plan for the next day, ensuring a smooth transition.


4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?


A recent leadership lesson I’ve learned is the value of transparent communication. Keeping the team informed about changes, challenges, and successes fosters trust, alignment, and a culture of accountability.


5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?


“Leaders Eat Last” by Simon Sinek deeply influenced my leadership style. This book highlighted the significance of building a strong team with a foundation of trust and support. Applying its principles, I transformed my approach to leadership, resulting in improved collaboration and employee engagement.


6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?


Embrace continuous learning and be open to feedback. Developing a growth mindset will empower you to adapt, lead with empathy, and build a resilient team.


7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?


A memorable story from my leadership experience is when our team faced a major setback. Instead of dwelling on the setback, we united to find innovative solutions. Through collective effort and shared determination, we turned the challenge into a major success, showcasing the power of collaboration and perseverance.
