Being led by an incompetent leader who doesn't see the need for development

2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?

The spark started when I was inspired to lead when I was told that I was a leader and that I should start developing my leadership potential. And the person who told me that I had met them for the first time that's how my leadership journey started

3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?

I structure them by dairising what is important and execute them in the order of their importance.

4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?

Is that sometimes we learn leadership through it's absence. Meaning that most of the people who think they are leading they have no idea of what leadership is all about

5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?

Leadership For Dummies. The book has profoundly impacted my leadership so far because it has simple yet profound leadership tips which describes leadership in detail

6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?

Be yourself, be a perpetual learner, learn, unlearn and relearn.

7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?

When I met someone who expected me to know them by name and show some excitement because they heard me speak somewhere where I didn't notice that she was there. I learnt leaders impact and influence people in ways they might not even know. And I also realized that people sometimes they have unrealistic expectations from leaders and they still feel they are right for having those expectations
