1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?


- Ownership is not separate from leadership.


2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?


I grew up with my family and My father always told me you are a leader. My father gave me the opportunity to lead the home regarding financial Issues. He taught me leadership styles. My Attitude developed by Leadership. I have been working first line manager/ Supervisor / in Bole International Airport private sector restaurant. Developed my leadership style and more impressed by Servant leadership. I am working in diffrence Hotel at Addis Ababa last Eight Years. I am General Manager now. I have Bachlore Art of Degree by Hotel Management and Mastors of Art In Councelling.

3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?


I wake up early in the morning and I am working physical Excerice for 2 hours. I take a shower and eating breakfast. I list to date working list. I follow internal and External message. I reading psycological and mind set books. I empowered last 3 month new manager. I discusses with potential leaders/ Mentee/ about working report. I gives training formally and informaly for subordinate. I takes visitors with appointment and without appointment. I reades Holy Bibles and Fellowship with small group. I checks always my social media at night. I pray then sleep.


4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?


- Ownership and management must be separate in one organization. - Leadership means not Controlling all subordinates. - Good Leaders do not give feedback publicly except the reinforcement. - Makes boundaries with all staff as a leader - Managing the people more easily leading the people. Providing Mentoring support to business colleagues is the best idea. - Act as a positive role model through individual performance.


5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?


- How to win friends and influence people.

I have been reading the last ten year's academic books regarding leadership and leadership style. I have been listening to my leadership Audio like Dr. Myles Munroe. Nevertheless, I was inspired by how to win friends and influence people. Leadership Is Influencing the people to achieve the organizational goal. I learned how to influence the People. Knowing your audio. What wants your followers is important in convincing your follower's ideas and leading your followers your way. Let me take one Example two friends go fishing. One of the friends takes his life. the other takes fish likes. This is Obviously fishing takes the second guy. Leadership is like that.


6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?


Be Patient everything happens on Time. Working with themselves.


7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?


I have my painter workers. He dislikes the job but honestly an amazing painter in Sub-Shara. I lead and open opportunities for him. The Next time he rejoiced by Job. A leader looks for opportunity always.
