4. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?

True leaders have to be visionary and have to lead by examples, you can never become a leader unless you have a habit to nurture your surroundings, as a leader you need to look at the macro level picture and holistic 360 deg view to ensure the overall growth of true self and your business.

5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?

"Stay Hungry Stay Foolish" by Rashmi Bansal tells you many success stories where people have failed and have turned the tide in their favor. There are many stories mentioned in the book about the founder of naukari.com Mr Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Mr Shantanu Prakash (Educomp), Mr Vardan Kabra, fountainhead school, the best part among all of them was that they never let their dreams die and pursued them till last to make it big, astounding, this books gives an glimpse of your hungry and foolish true self

6. How do you build leadership capacity in a large enterprise?

Leadership helps management in above three roles in every step:
By Setting a direction- Planning is calculative in nature however Setting is more inductive done by leadership. Direction- setting plans of leaders does not produce plans but it creates Vision & Strategies.
By Aligning People- It is more of a communication challenge than a design problem. Aligning needs credibility of the leader. It leads to empowerment.
By Motivating people- Management controls people by pushing them in the right direction; Leadership motivates them by satisfying basic human needs, it energizes people for achievement, recognition, self-esteem, to live up to one’s ideals etc.

7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a CEO or executive of a large enterprise so far?

Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, all were not considered as brilliant students or co workers while educating from school and while working but they have set examples by making their own brand name, they are not successful not because that have developed something unique but the way they have retained, managed and sustained the uniqueness and innovation they keep on bringing as per the customer requirements.
