I am a Japanese serial entrepreneur with more than 25 years experience in top management collaboration matters and business development activities within various fields including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, IT, online to offline marketing, senior care and education. I am CFO of Sendy Technology Inc as a famous IT education technology company in mainland China. Besides, I am director of 6 companies in Switzerland, UK and Japan.

1. What have you found most challenging as a CEO or executive of a large enterprise?
Through our business activities, I would like to support that researchers and entrepreneurs in developing countries can get equal opportunity the same as people in developed countries.
2. How did you become a CEO or executive of a large enterprise? Can you please briefly tell the story?
My father was an entrepreneur in the medical field and I became the director of his company at 23 years old. That is why I have a lot of experience of management from a young age. This is an important reason for becoming a CEO.
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
At the seed stage of the project, I am working for almost 24 hours without getting holidays. But once I complete the business structure, I work for a few hours per day and have a holiday. the rest of my working time is reading books and studying various business fields.
4. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?
I have learned it from many books and not from seminars.
5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?
The book that I am most affected very much is "The Great Reset"written by Mr. Thierry Malleret and Klaus Schwab. Especially I respect Mr. Thierry. The book gives me many prescriptions about the post Covid 19 economic environment to make the right decision for my business activities.
6. How do you build leadership capacity in a large enterprise?
Experience is most important, not any theory.
7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a CEO or executive of a large enterprise so far?
In Mainland China, one of my IT education companies has started from one kindergarten as our client that uses our IT service. 6 years later there are about 5000 kindergartens that use our IT service and belong to our service platform.
