1. What have you found most challenging as a church leader?

We live in a regional town so we constantly lose young people to the city for further education.

2. How did you become a church leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?

Married my husband who was last way in full time ministry.


3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?

I serve my family in the mornings as we still have kids at home. After around 11am I do what is needed church/ministry wise - including staff management, pastoral care and leading various key ministry areas in our church. After 330pm I return to home duties.

4. What's one book apart from the Bible that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?

Deep & Wide (Andy Stanley) Instructs on how the church can be both deep in its discipleship of believers but wide enough to capture the unchurched at the same time.

5. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?

Hold onto people lightly.

6. How do you develop a healthy leadership pipeline in a church?

Tricky one with so many of our young people moving on at 18yrs old. We’ve changed fo us with of late seeing to teach and train them to release them to be a blessing to whatever and wherever they go after high school.

7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a church leader so far?

Being able to see our implementation of the “Deep & Wide” model into the life of our church and to see the way that invites unchurched people into our church and have them relaxed yet intrigued by being there. Love it.
