1. What have you found most challenging as a church leader?

Teaching the new generation with the change of mentality with the cancel culture trying to show Bible not relevant for today. Having me step back and letting Holy Spirit do the work.

2. How did you become a church leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?

I was called into ministry in college when God literally called me one day to preach. Then 10 years later I was in Japan in the Navy and God showed a Pastor my call and brought me into the Church of God to be ordained.

3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?

Get up and do my studying and preparing for the day. Then run errands and make calls. Then after lunch prepare for dinner. Then family time.

4. What's one book apart from the Bible that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?

In his steps. It really opened my eyes to evangelism and how we should devote time to it.

5. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?

You can’t make everyone happy so just concentrate of making Jesus happy.

6. How do you develop a healthy leadership pipeline in a church?

Keep communication line open and keep open door policy and anonymity for reporting.

7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a church leader so far?

Had a young person who wanted to be part of media team. I decided I would mentor him and try to help. Last month he started his own church in Va. and more importantly is a great family man and person.
