1. What have you found most challenging as a church leader?
Raising believers fully conformed to the image of Christ
2. How did you become a church leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?
I have been involved in leadership from my days on campus. on-campus, I founded a fellowship and from there rose to be the leader of the joint fellowship on campus. from here I transited into church leadership beyond the campus.
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
The first 8 hours i.e 4am-12pm for my spiritual edification,12-8pm for others,counselling,fellowship,phone calls,emails etc,the last 8 hours for personal development.
4. What's one book apart from the Bible that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?
The book 'purpose driven-church' by Rick Warren.
The book helped in shaping my perspective on the purpose and mission of the church especially in areas of message and methods of carrying out the mission of the church.
5. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?
To always discount for the humanity of fellow ministers. The best of men are still men at their very best.
6. How do you develop a healthy leadership pipeline in a church?
By teaching loyalty and a culture of alliance.
7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a church leader so far?
One story in this regard is how I supernaturally met my wife and how God has used her as a stability factor in our ministries.
