Leaders that are disconnected between strategy and execution.

I was asked to be on a board.
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
Journal, coffee, blog, email, exercise, meetings, email, meetings, phone calls, exercise, email, dinner.
4. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?
Be a quick listener and use feel, felt, found mentoring process.
5. What are some of the keys to doing governance well in a organisation?
Create a constitution that guides the company and stick with the plan.
6. How do you differentiate between the role of board member and the roles of CEO or executive team member of a organisation?
Thought leaders vs. in the trench leaders who oversee execution.
7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a board member so far?
We connected with consumers, at their level, grew to deeply understand their needs and how the company could exceed their expectations, then led the C-suite around consumer concentric thinking.
