1. What have you found most challenging as a board member?
Harmonizing a chorus of different backgrounds, opinions, and egos to make a productive chorus.
2. How did you become a board member? Can you please briefly tell the story?
The result of a search or election.
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
I wake up with a list and forge ahead but I am most productive at night when my energy level is at peak.
4. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?
To let the little things go.
5. What are some of the keys to doing governance well in a organisation?
Understanding the responsibilities of oversight and standing with, fir, and in criticism of management.
6. How do you differentiate between the role of board member and the roles of CEO or executive team member of a organisation?
As Chairman it’s important that I do not run the company.
7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a board member so far?
To sense when to raise Ives voice.
