In the current world of uncertainly, the following factors have shown that it is difficult to motivate workers to achieve organizational goals
Leadership in the business world faces several current challenges, including:
1. COVID-19 pandemic: The pandemic has resulted in a sudden shift to remote work, disrupted supply chains, and stressed the financial health of many businesses. Leaders must navigate these unprecedented challenges to keep their businesses afloat.
2. Diversity and inclusion: The business world has faced a growing demand for greater diversity and inclusion in leadership, which requires a change in both mindset and strategy. Leaders must build diverse teams and create an inclusive environment that values all voices.
3. Technological advancements: The ever-evolving digital landscape and rapid pace of technological advancements mean leaders must keep up with new tools and trends to remain competitive.
4. Economic uncertainty: The global economy is prone to volatility, with markets affected by a wide range of factors beyond a leader's control. Leaders must be prepared to adapt quickly to changes in economic realities.
5. Geopolitical tensions: The political and economic tensions between nations pose new challenges for businesses operating on a global scale. Leaders must navigate these complexities while ensuring their business interests are protected.

2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?
I became a leader by utilizing key concepts such as learning from failures, being a constant learner, and utilizing situations where he met failures to grow and evolve. I also sought and cultivated essential leadership traits such as empathy, adaptability, persistence, and consistency, engraining them into his character.
It is through my constant desire to learn and evolve that created
a leadership style that is based on the power of learning from mistakes. This approach highlights the importance of embracing failures as opportunities for growth and development, which has helped me cultivate resilience, adaptability, and humility, all of which are key traits of successful leadership.
This approach has also helped me to develop empathy for others, which is essential for understanding employee needs, concerns, and aspirations. Being persistent in the face of challenges and consistent in my actions have helped me to build a reputation of trust and credibility, making me an effective leader.
In conclusion, I became a leader
by embracing his mistakes, learning from them, and continually growing and evolving. My leadership style is grounded in empathy, adaptability, persistence, and consistency, all of which are essential traits of effective leadership.
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
My work day structuring starts the day before by prioritizing and identifying task that need increased mental fortitude and agility. This task or tasks stay on the the top with the goal for that day, is to have successfully complete this task.
I allot a certain amount of time that is very specific in minutes or hours. Progress in the task is broken down to small milestones, which can serve as an anchor to motivate and push me forwards.
The smaller tasks are scheduled after it. In a worming day, I take at least two 15 minutes breaks to pray and meditate. 30 minutes of physical activity whether it be running or being in the gym. Nutrition is also equally important as we cannot function without adequate nutrition.
Before the night is over, I identify tasks that need go be completed. Sleeping hours at night see from 12:00 pm to 6:00 am on most days.
4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?
The recent and most important leadership lesson that I learnt and constant re-learn is “Empathy”
Empathy is an important leadership quality because it helps leaders build strong relationships with their team members. Empathetic leaders are able to understand the thoughts, feelings, and perspectives of their employees, which enables them to communicate effectively, provide support, and motivate their team members.
Empathy also helps leaders make informed decisions that benefit both their team members and the organization as a whole. Understanding the needs of employees can help leaders create a work environment that fosters a sense of belonging and motivation, resulting in increased productivity, better retention rates, and improved morale.
Furthermore, an empathetic leader is better equipped to handle conflicts and challenges that arise in the workplace. By being able to see situations from multiple perspectives, they are better able to manage difficult conversations, develop solutions that work for everyone, and avoid misunderstandings.
I learnt that empathy can create a culture of trust and respect within an organization. When team members feel that their leaders genuinely care about their well-being, they are more likely to be committed, engaged, and loyal to the organization, resulting in better performance and outcomes.
Empathy is an important leadership quality because it enables leaders to build strong relationships with their team members, make informed decisions, handle conflicts and challenges effectively, and create a culture of trust and respect.
5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?
One of the most influential books that has helped me grow is regarding situational leadership is "Leadership and the One Minute Manager" by Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson. The book outlines the Situational Leadership II (SLII) model, which is a comprehensive, practical, and flexible leadership approach that emphasizes adapting to the situation and the needs of team members.
The SLII model proposes that a leader's behavior should be adapted based on the needs, abilities, and motivation of his or her team members. It categorizes team members into four different behavioral tiers or "development levels", ranging from D1 (low competence, low commitment) to D4 (high competence, high commitment).
Depending on the development level of a team member, the leader must adjust their leadership style to best support that team member's growth and development. The book outlines four different leadership styles or "behavioral tendencies," depending on the development level of each team member.
"Leadership and the One Minute Manager" is a practical and accessible book that provides a framework for situational leadership that can be applied in various contexts. The book also provides examples and self-assessments that can help readers identify their own leadership style and areas for improvement which I have incorporated in my practice.
6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?
It is very difficult to emphasize on just one piece of advice to leaders as being a leader is a multi-doctrinal role. However, if I had to pick one, I would say that persistence and resilience are the most critical qualities for young upcoming leaders.
Leadership is not an easy journey, and you will come across many obstacles and setbacks along the way. But if you stay persistent and resilient, you will be able to overcome these challenges and achieve your goals.
Being persistent means being focused and determined, staying committed to your goals, and working towards them consistently, even when faced with obstacles or setbacks. It requires a deep sense of purpose and passion for what you do.
Resilience, on the other hand, is the ability to bounce back from setbacks and come out stronger. It involves having a positive attitude, being adaptable, and learning from your failures. A resilient leader does not give up easily and is willing to learn from their mistakes and move forward with renewed determination.
Together, persistence and resilience can help young upcoming leaders to navigate the many challenges they will face and succeed in their leadership roles.
7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?
I was preparing for an exam and I found it difficult to master the concepts. I had scheduled my time for studying and spent time trying to learn, but at the end of the session, I felt I did not master the concepts.
I realized that though I had allotted it time, without focus and concentration on the task, the concepts cannot be mastered.
Every task needs 100 percent focus and concentration to make it meaningful and time to reflect to understand the concepts.
